19th January 2009

Well today is when this idea is born! But the idea is simple; when we distributed a plain piece of used paper with the words "50% Discount on Love" on it, the smiles we saw are now documented in our memories as unforgettable! This act was our first to reconnect with being human, being ourselves, we hope to indulge in many more, but if you got that piece of paper... consider this strive as yours too...

Let this be a platform to share and connect, it doesn't have to be about niceness, it could be about things that touch us, about the environment, about life, about smiles, about education, about art that makes a different, about happiness, about change, this could be a way of getting like minded people together...

Leave your comments and ideas, and we'll put them up or try and possibly design an anonymous act around it!

  1. Hi ! This is Robin. When walkin on brigade road on monday evenin, few students approached and gave me a piece of paper on which it was writen "50% Discount on Love" I was wondering what it was. I asked her the same n her reply was to check this web site on the next mornin.

When asked any other information, her response was ANONYMOUS. I'm in a buzy scedule in this mornin, yet checked the web site. It seems to be interesting, still not able to understand what exactly should be the content of the blog.

However I am sure, I will learn more about this and will be a regular member of the blog spot. Thank you for all my student friends who gave me the piece of paper of Love discount.

    Cheers.
    Robin.

  2. Hey, 19th of Jan, I was (like Robin) walking along Brigade Road, due to leave India (My holiday destination for christmas) the next day.
As I walked past 5th Avenue with my younger cousin and A family friend, I looked up and I caught the eye of girl, as she went by me, she handed me a piece of paper. I read it and turned around and said thankyou but she was already far away. "50% Dicount on Love" - Reading that made me smile and feel really good. Within a few moments, my younger couin received one in the blink of an eye.
Finally having enough time to come online and check out the site, I realise this is a pretty cool idea.
Can I get in on the action? Can I join from here in Melbourne? I was wondering if I could do something for valentines day (Saturday) in the city.. I'll get some friends and do something. Make people feel good =] I used to do stuff like that before I moved. I'd like to do it again =]

Thanks for the Discount by the way =D

    Love Jadiee
